Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Matt Jacobi, operating as Jacobi Marketing ("we," "us"), runs jacobimarketing.com. This policy describes what information the site collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

This site has two forms and one analytics setup:

  • Audit request form. Name, email, company name, trade, metro, and optionally a website URL and free-text notes you provide, submitted so we can generate and send you a visibility report.
  • Contact form. Name, email, and the message you write.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors reach and use this site — for example, that someone clicked through to the audit form, submitted it, or sent a contact message. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as_ga) to recognise returning visits, and Google processes this data as our analytics provider. We do not use it to build advertising audiences or to identify you personally.
  • Standard web logs. Our hosting provider may log basic technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamp) the way most web servers do by default.

We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site, and we do not sell your information. Google Analytics is the only third-party script this site loads.

Opting out. You can block analytics with Google'sopt-out browser add-on, by using your browser's Do Not Track or cookie-blocking settings, or with any standard content blocker. Nothing on this site requires analytics to work — both forms function normally with it blocked.

What we do with it

  • Audit request data is used to generate and send you the visibility report you asked for, and to follow up about it.
  • Contact form data is used to respond to your message.
  • We do not sell your information.
  • If you engage us as a client, information you provide (and performance data from any campaign we run for you) is used to deliver and report on that engagement, under the terms of a signed agreement — not this website policy.

Who else sees it

We use third-party infrastructure to run this site and its forms (hosting, form/email delivery, and the analytics approach described above). We have not finalized the specific vendor list yet; this section will be updated to name them once selected. We do not share form submissions with anyone outside the vendors needed to operate this site and, if applicable, deliver a signed engagement.

How long we keep it

Audit requests and contact messages are retained for up to three years from submission, then deleted automatically. We keep them that long so we can pick up a conversation that goes quiet and come back to it, and so we can avoid re-running a duplicate report for a company that already asked. Forwarded copies of email sent to our published address are deleted after 90 days.

Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on our Analytics property, which is managed in Google's systems rather than ours.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete information you've submitted through either form by emailing us at matt@jacobimarketing.com. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional statutory rights; this section will be expanded to address them specifically as part of the professional review noted above.
